The local route

Meeting content is processed on the computer. The temporary audio is removed after successful processing by default; the text result remains stored locally.

FAQ

Straight answers about local Meetings.

Does my meeting audio go to the cloud?

No. Meeting recording and processing stay on the desktop device. Network functions such as licensing and updates do not include the meeting audio or transcript.

Can Dictovo recognize different speakers?

Dictovo can separate speakers and lets you correct their names. Speaker recognition is helpful, but not guaranteed to be error-free.

Can I share the report in Word?

Yes. Copy the result into Word or Google Docs, or import the Markdown export. Dictovo does not currently create a native .docx file.

Does Meetings work on Mac and Windows?

Meetings is intended for both desktop platforms. Public availability remains dependent on a completed real-hardware product gate for each platform.

Does Dictovo already work on iPhone?

Not yet. iPhone comes later and will use an activation slot within the existing license plan.

How long does processing take?

Processing time depends on the meeting length, computer and local models. Longer recordings can take time after the meeting ends.

Is the recording kept after processing?

Temporary audio is removed after successful processing by default. The text result remains stored locally until you remove it.
